Job description

Compensation: $20.50 per/hour

Shift Time(s): 8 and/or 10 hour shifts - 40 hour work week

Responsibilities

• Safely operate your vehicles at all times.
• Lift packages up to 50 lbs.
• Load van with containers / packages before route departure.
• Conduct morning and end‑of‑day vehicle inspection.
• Assist co‑workers loading their vans to ensure a timely departure from the station.
• Deliver products and smiles to customers in a timely manner.
• Operate on the road (OTR) up to 10‑hour shifts, delivering to routes within a 70‑mile radius.
• Perform physical work such as climbing in/out trucks, using stairs, lifting containers without issue.
• Work during inclement weather conditions.
• Fuel up and return to the station.
• Return and document undeliverable packages as required.
• Clean out assigned van.
• Be competent and efficient on GPS device, and troubleshoot if necessary.
• Be open to assisting in other capacities as needed.
• Follow designated safety protocol and procedures.
• Must be reliable and able to show up to work on time and have your own transportation.
• Assist co‑workers as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Driver Specific Responsibilities

• Load and unload delivery vehicles with packages to be delivered.
• Drive safely, following GPS‑guided route and all traffic laws.
• Deliver products to customers in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle.
• Report any issues or problems to management immediately.
