Job summary

Jimmy John's is seeking delivery drivers in Owasso, OK. Responsibilities include delivering sandwiches, learning the menu with accuracy, and helping as an in-shopper when not delivering. You’ll drive a company vehicle, follow traffic laws, and provide excellent customer service.

Guaranteed $15/hr with tips and mileage reimbursement; drivers can earn up to $20+/hr. Flexible schedule, daily cash tips, and a fast-paced work environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a vehicle, valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and a clean driving record.
• Drive safe and obey the rules of the road.
• Work as an in-shopper when there are no deliveries and learn the menu with 100% accuracy.
• Must be able to lift 30-40 lbs. regularly throughout shifts.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach and scoop throughout assigned shift.
• Ability to be mobile in walk-in refrigerator and freezer with temperatures ranging from 40° F to -10° F.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders to customers quickly and accurately.
• Assist as an in-shopper when not delivering and learn the menu with 100% accuracy.
• Ensure orders are completed to customer specifications and provide friendly service.

Job description

Guaranteed $15/hr!! - includes hourly, tips and mileage reimbursement! Cash paid at end of each shift for tips and mileage! Rockstar Drivers have made up to $20+/hr!! Jimmy John's Delivery Driver's goal is to get that perfectly made sandwich in the customer's hand as quick as can be. We do this by learning the most efficient route, double-checking orders to ensure everything is accounted for, and hustling on our feet (while always being safe and law-abiding while on the street). Our Drivers do great with the small delivery area and high volume of CONSISTENT deliveries. Drivers take home cash every day!

While not on the road, Drivers work as Inshoppers and will be required to learn the menu with 100% accuracy, help take orders, make sandwiches and assist us in maintaining a clean restaurant.

Delivery is a customer service job so knowing the menu, following customer's requests and following through with a smile can lead to more successful days!
