Delivery Driver – The Parts Authority

Join the Delivery Driver role at The Parts Authority. We have immediate career opportunities for Delivery Drivers in our rapidly expanding division. Company vehicle will be provided.

Our drivers represent the company in daily client interactions. Candidates must have excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver automotive parts within assigned routes and schedules.
• Load, transport, and deliver items to customers or businesses in a timely, friendly, and courteous manner.
• Review orders before and after delivery to ensure completeness and correct charges.
• Follow dispatcher directions, adhere to routes, and use navigation apps.
• Assist with loading/unloading at customer locations without interfering with operations.
• Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and handle complaints professionally.
• Abide by transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Accept payments, prepare and reconcile reports, invoices, returns, and cash.
• Perform daily maintenance checks on the company vehicle and report issues.
• Assist with warehouse duties such as stocking and parts pulling as assigned.
• Maintain and promote workplace safety.
• Secure and transfer cash or other assets.

Minimum Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• Must meet company insurance requirements – drivers must be 21 years or older.
• Current valid automobile insurance with your name on the policy.
• Ability to lift, move, push, and pull up to 50 pounds (Auto Body Parts Collision Drivers up to 75 pounds).

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Manage, track, and account for money transactions; reconcile customer credit and debt balances.
• Use a tablet and/or mobile device for navigation, route optimization, tracking, and customer interface/signature capture.
• Exceptional customer communication skills; professional, tactful, and diplomatic.
• Take and follow directions; work well with others as part of a team.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Previous delivery driving experience is a plus.
