We are hiring a Propane Delivery Driver based in Lantana, Florida. At Chesapeake Utilities, we are committed to delivering energy that drives progress, prioritizing safety, and building trusting relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Operate truck and delivery equipment safely to deliver propane gas.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and document findings.
• Maintain all documentation required by the Department of Transportation.
• Follow traffic rules and practice defensive driving.
• Adhere to safety guidelines for equipment operation and propane delivery.
• Record deliveries, meter readings, and tank percentages accurately.
• Check customer credit status before deliveries and handle payments/disconnections as needed.
• Assist customers and resolve issues with sensitivity and professionalism.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Active CDL Class B license.
• Hazmat endorsement.
• Good sense of smell.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Ability to keep the truck safe and clean.
