Job summary

Graybar Electric Company in La Porte, TX is seeking a Delivery Driver to safely operate a Graybar vehicle on local routes and provide on-time delivery with excellent customer service.

This full-time role typically runs Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm, with home nights and weekends off. You will load/unload, use forklifts/pallet jacks, inspect the vehicle, and maintain logs while representing Graybar professionally.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license for state of residence.
• Experience driving a van or truck up to 26,000 GVW.
• Must pass pre-employment physical and DOT medical exam.
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical testing.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and PPE use.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to Graybar customers on local routes with on-time accuracy.

You will safely drive a Graybar truck or van from the warehouse to each destination, providing on-time delivery and good customer service. You will be responsible for maintaining positive customer relations and passing along customer feedback, and even promoting services and products! One advantage of this role is that it is typically Monday-Friday during the day and you will be home each night.
