Job summary

Omnicare Pharmacy, a CVS Health subsidiary, seeks a Delivery Driver to transport prescription orders and related items on a predetermined route using a company vehicle. You will serve long-term care facilities and patients, ensuring accuracy, safety, and patient confidentiality on every delivery.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Be reliably available for regular work schedule.
• Provide timely and accurate delivery of medication, equipment, products and/or supplies into long term care facilities or patient’s homes.
• Load products/materials.
• Responsible for vehicle maintenance and alerting management for maintenance issues.
• Maintain and full compliance with all Federal, State and Local laws and regulations.
• Maintain highest professional and ethical standards.
• Follow HIPAA to ensure patient confidentiality.

As a Delivery Driver for Omnicare Pharmacy, you will deliver prescription orders and/or products to customers on a predetermined route and schedule in a company provided vehicle. Delivery Drivers take important steps to ensure all medication needs and regulatory compliance standards are met for our patients and they demonstrate ethical conduct and always maintain patient confidentiality.

Physical Requirements

• Sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk intermittently during the day.
• Sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day.
• Lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
• Must be able to see and drive at night.
• Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required.
• Visual acuity to see and read fine prints. Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to hear normal voice sounds.
• May be necessary to work extended hours as needed.

The typical pay range for this role is:
