Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Delivery Driver in Kansas City, MO to safely drive a Graybar truck or van, deliver orders on time, and provide excellent customer service. You will maintain positive customer relations and pass along feedback while promoting Graybar services and products.

Work hours Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with most roles offering home nightly. Graybar offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for learning and career development as an employee-owned company.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills
• Ability to perform the physical requirements necessary to work in a warehouse environment; must pass pre-employment physical testing
• Safely operate warehouse equipment and proper use of PPE
• Experience driving a van or truck equal or below 26,000 GVW
• Must have a valid driver’s license issued by state of residence for vehicle type
• Must pass DOT medical exam and Commercial Motor Vehicle Certification

• Load and unload trucks using warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
• Inspect vehicle and supplies
• Safely operate vehicle at all times

• Work a local route – no overnights or weekends away

As a Delivery Driver, you will have face-to-face contact with customers as you deliver orders. You will safely drive a Graybar truck or van from the warehouse to each destination, providing on-time delivery and good customer service. You will be responsible for maintaining positive customer relations and passing along customer feedback, and even promoting services and products! One advantage of this role is that it is typically Monday-Friday during the day and you will be home each night. Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Compensation Details:

The expected pay rate for this position is starting at $23.00 per hour depending on experience.

Additional Information:

• Steel toed boots required.
• CDL not required, but must pass DOT medical exam.
