Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a delivery driver to transport radiopharmaceuticals and oncology medications to medical providers on a defined route. You will prepare, load, and verify shipments while adhering to safety standards and DOT requirements.

Responsibilities include scanning orders with a handheld tablet, handling packages, and maintaining vehicles. Weekend/holiday/on-call rotations may be required; a valid license and ability to lift 75 pounds are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent work experience.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in varied weather.
• Comfortable using a tablet/computer for orders and routing.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, on-call shifts or rotations.
• Nuclear environment familiarity or adaptability a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver radiopharmaceuticals or oncology meds to medical care providers on assigned routes.
• Package and load shipments; ensure proper handling and safety standards.
• Scan orders via handheld tablet for accuracy and routing information.
• Process returns and assist with loading/unloading as needed.
• Maintain vehicle condition and perform minor repairs or cleaning.
• Support on-site facility duties as required.

Wednesday-Friday 5am-2:30pm
Weekend, Holiday and On Call Rotations are required

What Pharmacy Services & Delivery Contributes To Cardinal Health

Responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT).

Responsibilities

• Prepares and makes deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-cdl)
• Packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performs testing, and loads/unloads containers
• Uses a handheld tablet to scan customer orders for accuracy, obtain route stop information and navigation
• Processes packages returned from customer locations
• Maintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairs
• Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle
• Must hold a valid driver's license
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours
• Ability to lift and manage up to 75 pounds
• Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time
• Ability to work weekends, on call, holidays, overtime, alternate days/shifts, or be in a rotation
• Comfortable working in a nuclear environment
• Ability to use computers and tablets
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Prior delivery driving experience a plus
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Basic proficiency in English is required, including being able to read and write in English in order to process documents.
• May require vendor credentialing

Anticipated hourly range: $17.00 per hour
