Qualifications

• 1 year delivery driving experience required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and move a minimum of 50 to 100 lbs.

Overview

Northern Home Essentials is looking for a Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you are a key member of the team and responsible for delivering household goods to clients and installation into their homes. Items include full-size appliances, mattresses, and home electronics. The delivery team unloads freight trucks and loads products into customers' vehicles for safe transport to their end destination. Exemplifying our code of values, you show respect and courtesy to all customers and employees.

Responsibilities

• 1 year delivery driving experience required
• Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and different routes
• Install, hookup and test products in customers\' homes
• Follow route and schedule
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle
• Ability to operate Tommy lift gate in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
• Must be able to lift and move a minimum of 50 to 100 lbs

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to drive multiple types of vehicles, e.g., box truck and express van
• Excellent organizational skills
• Must be able to work independently
• Must have excellent time management skills
• Ability to communicate effectively and maintain effective relationships with current customers and vendors
• Must be 18 years old or older due to insurance requirements
