Job summary

Plumbers Supply Co is seeking a Delivery Driver to safely transport plumbing supplies to customers in the Franklin area. You will operate box trucks (non-CDL) and load/unload according to daily schedules, while delivering reliable service.

We value safety, teamwork, and customer satisfaction. You should have a valid driver's license, 2 years' box truck experience, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. We offer health insurance, holidays, vacation, and a 401K with company match.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Minimum 2 years of experience driving a box truck or similar.
• Ability to routinely lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 75 lbs with or without assistance.
• DOT medical card or ability to acquire one.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Operate company-owned and leased box trucks to deliver plumbing supplies according to customer specifications.
• Load trucks based on daily schedules and customer delivery requirements.
• Use material handling equipment to load trucks and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
• Verify shipping counts and maintain adherence to safety and security standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service during all shipping operations.
• Collaborate effectively with warehouse and other teams as needed.

WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY BE DOING:

• Operate company-owned and leased box trucks and flatbed (straight) trucks (Non-CDL) to deliver plumbing supplies and related products according to customer specifications
• Load trucks based on daily schedules and customer delivery requirements
• Use material handling equipment to load trucks and ensure accurate order fulfillment
• Verify shipping counts and maintain adherence to safety and security standards
• Provide exceptional customer service during all shipping operations
• Maintain required certifications per DOT and OSHA standards and participate in company safety programs
• Collaborate effectively with warehouse and other teams as needed

OUR MUST HAVES:

• Must be 21 years of age
• Valid Driver's License
• Minimum 2 years of experience driving a box truck or similar
• Ability to routinely lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs with or without assistance
• Customer service focus with excellent communication skills
• Dependable attendance and reliability
• DOT medical card or ability to acquire one
• Prior experience driving a box truck in shipping, receiving, or delivery preferred
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
• Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving techniques
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required
