Job summary

Chick-fil-A Houston Road is hiring Delivery Drivers to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis in the Florence area. You will help uphold our high standards of presentation, service, and care while delivering with a smile.

Strong communication via our delivery app and a customer-first mindset are essential. Benefits include a fun work environment, flexible scheduling, growth opportunities, and scholarships.

Qualifications

• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must have a working smartphone with a data plan and GPS.
• Must have a valid state-issued driver's license.
• Ability to carry delivery tote bags (2-15 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Represent Chick-fil-A as a brand ambassador with our values and culture.
• Perform pre-trip vehicle checks (tires, gas, warning lights).
• Keep a charged phone/device during deliveries.
• Drive safely with urgency to deliver meals.
• Execute Core 4 and 2nd Mile Service beyond the Restaurant.
• Address customer concerns and protect the brand during deliveries.
• Maintain cleanliness, speed and accuracy in delivery area.
• Meet with supervisor on shift for tasks.
• Serve as a normal in-restaurant Team Member when not delivering.
• Adhere to Chick-fil-A dress code and rules.

Job description

Delivery drivers are generally offered as either part time or full time. You will be a member of the Chick-fil-A Houston Road family and will help uphold our high standards of presentation, service, and care. The ideal candidate must be able to execute Chick-fil-A hospitality with our guests in a caring way. Clear and excellent communication skills via our delivery app are paramount to help us continue to meet our guest's expectations beyond the Restaurant.

Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

• Represent Chick-fil-A as a brand ambassador by embracing and demonstrating our values and our culture at the highest level at all times
• Performs pre-trip vehicle checks including, tires, gas level, and warning lights/indicators.
• Maintains a charged phone/device throughout the duration of delivery.
• Execute safe driving best practices when operating delivery vehicles for meal deliveries with a sense of urgency.
• Executes Core 4 and 2nd Mile Service beyond the Restaurant.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by protecting and upholding our brand at all times as you attend to customer concerns as they arise on a delivery.
• Helps differentiate Chick-fil-A from others in the delivery space.
• Maintain Operational Excellence in vehicles and delivery assembly area (cleanliness, speed and accuracy, taste of food, and attentive & courteous) at all times
• Meet with supervisor on shift to receive specific position and duty(s) on current shift
• Serve as a normal in-restaurant Team Member when not making deliveries
• Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
• Represents Restaurant by being presentable, efficient, and friendly.
• Executes safe driving best practices.
