Job summary

Midwest Bottle Gas in Kentucky is hiring a professional CDL driver to load, transport, and deliver propane products safely. You will work with service technicians and dispatch to ensure on-time service and maintain accurate documentation, with on-call rotations as business needs require.

Must have Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, a clean driving record, ability to lift up to 75 lbs and pull 125 lbs, and a strong commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Driving record that meets insurance requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and pull up to 125 lbs in all weather.
• Willingness to work on-call and outside regular hours.
• Commitment to following safety procedures without exception.

Responsibilities

• Load, secure, transport, deliver, and unload propane products safely.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, DOT, and company safety requirements.
• Complete accurate service orders, documentation, and parts billing daily.
• Inspect vehicles and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Provide professional, courteous service at customer locations.
• Collaborate with service and dispatch teams to meet goals.
• Participate in on-call rotations, including extended hours as needed.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Load, secure, transport, deliver, and unload propane products safely
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, DOT, and company safety requirements
• Complete accurate service orders, documentation, and parts billing each day.
• Inspect vehicles and report maintenance or equipment needs promptly
• Provide professional, courteous service at every customer location
• Work collaboratively with service and dispatch teams to support operational goals
• Participate in on-call rotations, including extended or after-hours work as business needs require

Must Have

• Valid Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
• Driving record that meets company insurance requirements
• Ability to safely lift up to 75 lbs and pull up to 125 lbs in all weather conditions
• Willingness to work on-call and outside regular hours when required
• Commitment to following safety procedures without exception

Nice to Have

• Comfort using basic computer systems for logging, inspections, and documentation
• Experience working directly with residential or commercial customers
• Familiarity with DOT inspections and compliance standards

Pay: $24-27 per hour (Depending on Experience)
