Cardinal Health is seeking a delivery driver to support radiopharmaceutical and oncology product distribution on an early-morning route in Rhode Island. You will ensure accurate dosing, loading, and on-time deliveries to medical providers.

This role requires physical work, lifting up to 75 pounds, and the ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. Benefits begin on day one of employment.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 due to driving a company vehicle.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Able to drive in all weather, day or night.
• Can lift up to 75 pounds.
• Can sit/stand/move for extended periods and operate a vehicle.

Responsabilités

• Deliver to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-CDL).
• Package radiopharmaceuticals for shipment and load/unload containers.
• Use handheld tablet to scan orders, obtain route stop information and navigation.
• Process packages returned from customer locations.
• Maintain vehicles and perform minor roadside repairs as needed.
• Perform general facility cleaning and other duties.

Shift/Schedule

• 30 hours per week
• Monday to Friday 2:30 am - 8:30 am
• Rotating holidays, typically 2 per year
• One Saturday per month 2:00 am - 8:00am
• Candidate must be flexible to work different days, schedules, hours, come in early, stay late, or work overtime based on business needs.

What Pharmacy Services & Delivery Contributes To Cardinal Health

Responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT).

Responsibilities

• Prepares and makes deliveries to customer accounts on assigned route using a company vehicle (non-cdl)
• Packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performs testing, and loads/unloads containers
• Uses a handheld tablet to scan customer orders for accuracy, obtain route stop information and navigation
• Processes packages returned from customer locations
• Maintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairs
• Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle
• Must hold a valid driver's license
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours
• Ability to manage weight up to 75 pounds
• Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, overtime, alternate days/shifts, or be in a rotation
• Comfortable working in a nuclear environment
• Ability to use computers and tablets
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Prior delivery driving experience a plus
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Basic proficiency in English is required, including being able to read and write in English in order to process documents.
• May require vendor credentialing

Pay rate: $19.50 per hour
