Job summary

Cemstone is seeking a delivery driver to support our ready-mix concrete operations in the upper Midwest. The role emphasizes building relationships with customers and suppliers while ensuring timely problem resolution.

Responsibilities include route planning, loading and delivering merchandise, maintaining manifests, and collaborating with warehouse and field staff. A high school diploma is required; CDL Class A is preferred but not required. DOT drug screening and physical are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (minimum); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One year experience is preferred.
• Health Card. MN-DL – CDL – Class A Preferred but not required.
• Ability to pass Federal Department of Transportation drug screening and physical.

• Maintain effective working relationships with company employees, suppliers, and customers. Promote and maintain the professional image and reputation of the company and ensure timely problem resolution and customer satisfaction.
• Perform routine inspection of vehicle and supplies to ensure road safety.
• Plan route to and from customers’ businesses and adjust for traffic and/or construction.
• Ensure that manifests are complete and accurate.
• Deliver merchandise to customer and contact customer if they are not present.
• Load truck with daily merchandise to be delivered as well as unload merchandise for customer.
• Pull orders to match manifest.
• Prepare and maintain records in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Address issues with customers and other employees in a diplomatic manner, in a variety of stressful situations.
• Select appropriate processes from clearly prescribed rules, past practices, or instruction.
• Assist in the warehouse as needed
• Other duties as assigned
