Job summary

Jacam Chemical Company 2013, LLC is seeking a dedicated delivery driver to haul hazardous chemicals and treat oilfield wells according to customer specs. You will complete pre/post-trip inspections and maintain equipment, with safety as a priority.

Must have a Class A CDL with Hazmat, Tanker, Airbrake endorsements; Hazmat certification; 2 years oilfield experience; read maps; forklift cert preferred. This role requires independent work and team collaboration, physical ability to lift heavy drums.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years’ oilfield experience handling hazardous chemicals and treating high‑pressure wells.
• Must possess, at minimum, a Class B CDL with Hazmat, Tanker, and Airbrake endorsements.
• Class A CDL is required to drive a tractor‑trailer combination.
• Current Medical Examiner’s Certification.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Ability to read maps and follow driving directions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hazardous chemicals and treat oilfield wells per customer specs.
• Complete pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of vehicle and equipment.
• Schedule daily routes for treating customers’ wells.
• Treat wells to prevent corrosion, paraffin scale, foaming, emulsions, and other issues.
• Maintain safety and operate equipment including forklift and treater truck.
• Provide excellent customer service to customers and field personnel.
• Maintain safety at all times.
• Work independently and in a team.

Position Summary

Essential Functions

• Complete pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of company vehicle and equipment.
• Schedule daily routes for treating customers’ wells.
• Treat oil and gas wells to prevent corrosion, paraffin scale, foaming, emulsions, and other issues.
• Deliver chemicals and treat wells in a timely manner.
• Properly maintain and operate the forklift, treater truck, and all company equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service skills with all customers and field office personnel.
• Maintain the highest level of safety at all times.
• Work well independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Physical abilities: lift and carry 100 pounds in various packaging. Tip and move 55‑gallon drums, weighing up to 600 pounds, with the use of a drum dolly.

Work Environment

Indoors and outdoors, with driving involved. Employees may be exposed to temperature extremes. Manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude helpful. Use safety equipment such as hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, work boots, gloves, and H2S monitor as required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) – safety glasses, goggles, etc.
• Vision: near, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception.
• Sense of sound: 55 decibels, adult conversation.
• Sense of smell: able to detect odors.
