Job summary

LKQ Corporation is seeking a motivated Delivery Driver to operate a company vehicle for customer deliveries. You will load/unload, verify parts, collect payments, and obtain signatures upon delivery, ensuring accuracy of orders and returns.

Adherence to DOT/FMCSA regulations and safe driving is essential. The role requires 1+ year of delivery experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work with basic office tools like Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Qualifications

• No degree required, 1+ year of delivery/related experience preferred.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Must qualify for corporate insurance programs including vehicle insurance.
• Must meet DOT testing and FMCSA regulations and standards.
• Must be at least 21 years old and comply with DOT/FMCSA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive a Company vehicle to deliver products to customers safely and courteously.
• Manually load/unload truck; verify items loaded/unloaded and obtain signatures from receiving locations.
• Collect payments when applicable and provide receipts; return items to the location as needed.
• Maintain accurate manifests and participate in required paperwork and training.
• Provide excellent customer service during delivery/pickup and adhere to company policies.

Manually loads and unloads delivery truck, verifies parts loaded and unloaded, collects payments from customers, obtains signatures from receiving locations confirming accuracy of parts unloaded/loaded and delivers returned items back to the location.Essential Job DutiesDrive a Company vehicle in a safe, courteous, and responsible manner avoiding traffic violations and accidents.Physically load Company truck at the location and verify the condition of the truck, the manifest, and other paperwork associated with the deliveries to be made.Drive to the delivery destination and physically unload the truck, verify parts unloaded, obtain signature of receiving location, confirming the accuracy of parts shown on the order and those received, and sign off on the integrity of what was loaded at the location.Make proper notations on the manifest and provide receipts on parts being returned from customers to the location.Collect accounts receivable, as necessary.Comply with established Company policies and procedures.Successful completion of annual training as assigned.Operate in compliance with applicable rules and regulations set forth by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.Provide excellent customer service during delivery/pick up of products.Assume other duties as assigned.
