Job Summary

The primary purpose of the Delivery Driver is to deliver, merchandise, and service accounts in the assigned route, while maintaining the quality of our products and promoting a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company in a professional manner and provide excellent customer service.
• Assist in promoting safe work practices through frequent behavior‑based safety observations.
• Use all types of delivery equipment, pallet jacks, docks, dock‑levelers, trucks, and trailers in accordance with company and OSHA standards.
• Maintain a friendly working relationship with all account personnel.
• Communicate effectively to resolve customer problems, opportunities, and competitive activity.
• Prepare invoices, collect payment from customers, and record transactions on customer receipts.
• Check in products with the Store Manager following store policy.
• Restock displays, coolers, and cold boxes according to company rotation standards.
• Maintain clean and safe working equipment and complete the FMCSR approved inspection report daily.
• Transport product and merchandise between company locations and from suppliers as needed.
• Maintain a safe driving record and comply with company driving policy.
• Attend all scheduled meetings and company functions as required.
• Adhere to dress code, including safety non‑negotiables, and remain properly groomed at all times.
• Obey all federal, state, and local laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Language Skills – Ability to read, write, complete simple forms, and understand written instructions; present information to customers and other employees.
