Job summary

Jimmy John's in Centerville, UT is looking for energetic individuals to deliver our fast sandwiches with PM and weekend availability. You will be the face of the brand on the road, providing friendly, efficient service and ensuring orders reach customers accurately and promptly.

Responsibilities include safe driving, teamwork, cash handling, and maintaining a clean vehicle and store area. Training provided; great for first-time workers, with opportunities for higher tips on busy shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be a legally licensed driver with at least 2 years of driving experience.
• Must provide registered vehicle and proof of personal insurance that meets state minimums.
• Must have a reasonably unblemished driving record (this will be checked before employee is approved to drive).
• Able to lift 15-40 lbs regularly throughout shifts.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, and scoop through-out assigned shift.
• Able to work in walk-in refrigerator/freezer environments (40°F to -10°F).

Responsibilities

• Deliver food to customers safely and verify order was received by the correct party.
• Foster a teamwork-focused environment and positive store experience.
• Greet and thank every customer with a smile and eye contact.
• Operate cash register and handle cash transactions per policies.
• Maintain store cleanliness and assist with small wares and equipment when not on the road.
• Follow health, safety, and security guidelines.

Jimmy John's is looking for energetic, friendly, hardworking, enthusiastic individuals to join our team delivering our freaky fast sandwiches with PM and/or weekend availability. Closing shifts run until 11 PM and offer high tip opportunities and longer shifts as you will sometimes be the only driver on the shift. Jimmy John's makes the world's best and fastest sandwiches. If you might enjoy working in a fun, fast-paced environment while providing exceptional customer service, we would love to hear from you. Applicants should be willing to learn, interested in providing excellent customer service, and excited about becoming part of an exceptional team. Great for first time jobs! You provide the enthusiasm, and we’ll provide the training.

Additional Requirements

• Must be a legally licensed driver with at least 2-years of driving experience (can include learner’s permit in the 2 years). Must provide registered vehicle and proof of personal insurance that meets state minimums. Must have a reasonably unblemished driving record (this will be checked before employee is approved to drive).
• Must be able to travel briskly to and from vehicle repeatedly throughout the day.
• Must be able to lift 15-40 lbs. regularly throughout shifts.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, and scoop through-out assigned shift
• Ability to be mobile in walk-in refrigerator and freezer with temperatures ranging from 40° F to -10° F

Essential Functions include

• Responsibility for safely and efficiently delivering food to customers, as well as verification that order was received by the correct party. Responsibility for customer product and service standards
