Job summary

Picnic is hiring a Delivery Driver in California to organize, pick up, and transport food orders with accurate scanning and smooth handoffs to Tower Ambassadors. You will help create a bridge between Picnic and eaters and represent the brand in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include picking up orders, delivering to local offices, and ensuring proper handoffs while maintaining a reliable, friendly presence on the floor.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and navigate stairs.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and insurance.
• English proficiency is required.
• Experience in food service or delivery apps is a plus.

About the Role

What You’ll Do

• Pickup orders and deliver to Tower Ambassador in local offices.
• Retrieve orders from restaurant staff, mark picked‑up or handed‑off, deliver orders according to task list.
• Be the reliable face of our business.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and navigate stairs.
• Have a reliable source of transportation.
• iPhone or Android smartphone.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and insurance. (Scooter drivers exempt.)
• Effective communication skills in person and electronically.
• Proficiency in English needed.
• Positive attitude in a fast‑paced environment.
• Previous experience in food service or delivery app drivers are usually a good fit.

Job Type: Part‑Time

Pay: $30 Per Batch delivery

Locations: San Mateo / Redwood City / Palo Alto, CA

Experience: None required

Shift Availability: We operate 5 days during the traditional work week, primarily in the lunch hours.
