Position Details

Delivery Driver - 1st shift

Hours: 7 am - 3:30 pm

Location: Bluffton, IN

Role Overview

Reporting to the Supervisor, the Delivery Driver operates a Delivery van and Straight truck, transporting cargo between customer locations. When not delivering, drivers assist with warehouse duties. Responsibilities include:

• Driving products to customer locations
• Loading and unloading trucks safely
• Managing shipping paperwork
• Checking equipment functionality and reporting issues
• Identifying and counting inventory
• Operating warehouse equipment like forklifts and hand trucks
• Maintaining warehouse and vehicle cleanliness
• Following safety procedures
• Participating in meetings and training
• Performing other warehouse tasks as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

• Entry-level work experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record
• Ability to pass DOT Medical Exam and obtain a 1-year medical card
• Basic math, reasoning, and computer skills
• Strong work ethic, communication, and teamwork skills
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment and drive safely

Preferred but Not Required

• Experience in industrial wholesale distribution or local delivery driving
