Job summary

Jimmy John's is seeking Delivery Drivers to perform fast, accurate deliveries and assist in-store when not on deliveries. You will learn efficient routes, double-check orders for accuracy, and hustle on safe streets while always providing a smile.

Drivers earn an hourly wage starting at $9 in-store and on the road, plus $0.58 per mile. Tips and mileage reimbursements are paid daily; total earnings typically range from $12–$20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a vehicle, valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and a clean driving record.
• Ability to follow safety rules and road laws while delivering.
• Ability to work in-store when there are no deliveries and assist with cleaning.

Job description

Jimmy John's Delivery Drivers are tasked with making quick, accurate deliveries. We do this by learning the most efficient route, double checking orders to ensure everything is accounted for, and hustling on our feet (while always being safe and law abiding while on the street). Drivers' tips and mileage reimbursements are paid out every day onto their company supplied personal Branch card. This card works just like a debit card you would get from a bank and also has an easy-to-use app where you can transfer money, among other things.

While not on the road, Drivers work in the store helping to make sandwiches, take orders, and assist with the cleaning of the store. Delivery is a customer service job so following customers' requests and doing it with a smile is a requirement that will serve you as well as the store. Drivers earn an hourly wage starting at $9/hour in store AND on the road. Drivers are also paid $0.58/mile. The hourly wages are paid out bi-weekly but the tips and mileage reimbursements are paid out daily after shifts. Altogether, drivers typically make somehwere between $12-$20/hour.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have a vehicle, valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and a clean driving record
• Drive safe and obey the rules of the road
• Work in store when there are no deliveries
• Possess basic customer service skills which include manners and basic decency
