Job summary

Trulite is seeking an experienced Delivery Driver in a role focused on timely glass deliveries and pickups. You will load and unload materials, navigate routes efficiently, and maintain delivery records. The job requires working in various weather conditions and providing professional service.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule with daytime shifts, potential bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package. Prior delivery truck experience and a valid C license are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have C License and be able to pass a MVR check
• 1–2 years of delivery truck driving experience
• Ability to load and unload goods and lift up to 75 pounds
• Able to work in hot or cold temperatures and in varying weather
• Proficient in planning routes and maintaining delivery records

Responsibilities

• Plan and complete efficient daily delivery and pickup routes
• Load delivery vehicle with glass scheduled for delivery
• Deliver glass to addresses and obtain signatures when required
• Pickup glass along route and return company orders as needed
• Maintain basic truck mileage and delivery records
• Ensure vehicle maintenance per schedule and report issues
• Assist with general warehouse duties after routes are completed
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Who You Are:

A highly motivated and hard-working, reliable, and punctual Delivery Driver. Someone who is ambitious and hardworking and does not mind working in various weather conditions. This is a high touch position which requires the Delivery Driver to assist with loading and unloading.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Plans and completes an efficient delivery and pick-up route for the day.
• Loads delivery vehicle with glass scheduled for delivery.
• Delivers glass to correct addresses, obtaining signatures and proof of receipt when necessary.
• Picks up glass along the scheduled route, including items to be returned, company orders, and other items as requested.
• Maintains basic records of truck mileage and deliveries made.
• Ensures that delivery vehicle receives basic service according to maintenance schedule; reports larger service needs and mechanical issues to supervisor.
• Assists in general warehouse duties when the delivery route is completed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Skills You Bring:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• C License- Must be able to pass a 7 yr MVR (Motor Vehicle Record)
• Minimum 1-2 years' current or recent delivery truck driving experience
• Load and unload before, during, and after delivery routes.
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds unassisted.
• Must be able to work in hot or cold temperatures.
• Ability to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical maps.
• Ability to plan delivery routes.
• Ability to maintain basic logs and records.
• Able to always remain professional and courteous.
