Job summary

Aaron’s is seeking a Delivery Driver for our corporate retail store in Athens, GA. This fast-paced, store-based role involves driving, installing, moving, and demonstrating merchandise, both inside and outside the store.

You will support daily operations and help customers understand our products. The position offers competitive hourly pay starting at 13.75 and rising to 14.50, with benefits including paid time off, health insurance options, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old in the US; 18+ in Canada.
• Valid state driver’s license with satisfactory MVR.
• DOT certification if required for the location.
• Ability to work 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. schedule.
• Able to lift up to 50 lb. and 300 lb. with assistance.
• Able to work in all outdoor weather conditions.

• Stage, load, and safely secure products and operate the company vehicle.
• Unload, install, and demonstrate merchandise.

The pay range for this role is $13.75 to $14.50 per hour.*

Aaron’s Delivery Drivers are an integral part of ensuring positive customer experiences. This fast-paced, store-based role includes driving, installing, moving, and picking up merchandise, as well as demonstrating how customers can use their products. You’ll spend time inside and outside the store, support the team with day-to-day operations, and connect with customers in the community.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age for positions within the United States and at least 18 years of age in Canada.
• Requires a valid state driver’s license and compliance with the Company’s Driver Qualification Policy, including a satisfactory motor vehicle record (MVR).
• Must be able to obtain DOT certification, if required for the position’s location.
• Ability to work a schedule with hours varying from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. independently and up to 300 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another associate.
• Ability to work in all outdoor weather conditions, including rain and summer heat.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience moving household furnishings and appliances.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance.
