Job summary

Cassidy Tire & Service in the Chicago area is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to transport products to customers, unload and stage items, and uphold professional representation. Strong customer service and on-time delivery are essential to the role.

You will lift tires and parts, complete delivery paperwork, and travel up to 75% of the time, ensuring documentation and safety standards are met.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of driving experience (commercial vehicles).
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must possess a valid Class C or Class D license, required by the Department of Transportation.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior work experience sufficient to work under general supervision.
• Must be able to move, locate, stack, count and sort inventory.
• You must be able to load and unload various tires and sizes.
• It is critical for this individual to be able to deliver products safely to customers in a time efficient manner.
• Must be able to pick-up tires and wheels from customers, writing it up properly to ensure quality control.
• Must be able to lift up to 125 lbs repeatedly.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills (written and verbal) required.
• Ability to identify and address root causes when solving problems; work with other departments for solutions.
• Travel 75% of the time for delivery responsibilities.
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal skills) required.

Responsibilities

• Collect payments from customers in monetary form acceptable to Company.
• Ensure all administrative paperwork concerning delivery orders is available for inspection and accompanies deliveries.
• Maintain professional representation of the Company in all interactions with customers and through responsible driving.
• Maintain records for compliance with state and federal regulations (drivers logs, fuel purchases, mileage, etc.).
• Abide by all Company safety policies and state and federal transportation regulations.
• Occasionally operate powered industrial vehicles (forklift, pallet jacks, order pickers).

Objective

We are looking for a Delivery Driver for Cassidy Tire & Service. The primary focus is the delivery of product to customers ensuring customer satisfaction through on-time delivery and professional interaction. The Delivery Driver is responsible for providing timely transportation of products from origin to destination as assigned, along with unloading and staging products at customer’s place of business. Expected to maintain professional representation of the Company in all interactions with customers and through responsible driving, while providing excellent customer service and building strong customer relationships. In addition the Delivery Driver is responsible for helping out with moving, unloading/loading, and organizing inventory as needed.
