Job summary

BC Wire Rope, a division of American Equipment Holdings, is seeking a Delivery Driver to service customers and suppliers around the Anaheim area. The role involves loading, delivering, and basic shipping/receiving tasks with safety and reliability as priorities.

Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with an emphasis on accurate deliveries, route planning, and professional customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Computer proficiency
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• License to drive
• Must pass drug test, satisfactory MVR records
• Must pass background check
• 1-2 years Driving/Delivery experience

Responsibilities

• Make all stops assigned and to pick up or deliver orders for customers or suppliers
• Relay requests or complaints received from customers upon return
• Responsible for pulling orders and loading their truck for the day
• Assisting shipping/receiving
• Putting stock away and other general housekeeping duties
• Obey all traffic regulations
• Make only assigned, scheduled stops as designated
• Check the condition of the assigned vehicle daily
• Protect from damage or loss of all customer orders and originals in your possession
• Plan the delivery routes in a logical order of stops
• Review deliveries for accuracy. Compare to customer invoice
• Operate company vehicle in a safe, responsible manner
• Load and unload deliveries
• Complete paperwork for the billing process
• Always maintain professionalism
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to effectively promote the products and services of the company

Position Summary:

The Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering orders for customers and suppliers around the Anaheim area.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position; typical work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

This is a full-time onsite position with frequent trips to deliver and commute to various locations such as shops, vendor locations and commercial businesses; 8-hour days, Monday through Friday.
