Shift Details

• Full‑time: 4–5 days a week with at least one weekend day, 7 to 10 hour shifts, with overtime after 8 hours.
• Part‑time shifts must be available for at least one weekend day of 7–10 hours with schedules being flexible (we accommodate student schedules).
• Job is physically demanding, requiring 150–180 stops per shift and lifting packages up to 50 lbs. on and off stairs.
• Team‑based support to ensure all packages are delivered to customers.

Lumos Express has a unique story. Our owner began as a delivery driver, worked up to lead driver and operations manager, and now runs her own DSP. She truly understands what it takes to be a delivery driver, setting us apart from other DSP owners.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Show up on time when scheduled.
• Safely operate your delivery van.
• Operate all van types we use (cargo vans, step‑vans, electric vehicles; we will provide van and training).
• Use phone for route information, customer delivery, and scanning packages.
• Navigate residential and commercial locations using GPS.
• Lift packages up to 50 lbs. and navigate stairs.
• Communicate clearly and use technology devices (phones/apps).
• Manage time to deliver packages safely, quickly, and efficiently.
• Take responsibility for load in, unloading, and delivery to homes and businesses.
• Be a team player ready to help other drivers when requested.

Basic Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be able to work weekends.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving history.
• Pass pre‑employment drug test and background check (THC not tested).
