Job summary

Gannett Publishing Services in Binghamton is recruiting for a part-time Delivery Coordinator to support the Press & Sun-Bulletin distribution center. The role averages 30+ hours per week, with a pay rate of $20.49 per hour and a $2,250 sign-on bonus.

You will help with daily carrier, hauler and subscriber services, load/unload delivery trucks, prepare reports, and assist with news rack maintenance. A valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 25 pounds are required, along with strong

Qualifications

Valid driver license and clean driving record.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and push/pull carts.

Responsibilities

Distribution and handling of daily and non-daily products to carriers, haulers, retailers and consumers.
Unload and load trucks containing various print publications.
Open the Distribution Center and prepare for the independent contractor arrival by printing, preparing and distributing specified reports and paperwork.
Utilize industry specific software to handle required reporting for center.
General housekeeping of distribution center.
Complete required documentation and reports for center as needed.
Assist with delivering newspapers.
Respond to and resolve subscriber service issues.
Maintain and repair news racks throughout the designated distribution area.
Assist with training Product Handlers or Product Coordinators as needed.
