Carter Lumber Company in Easley, SC is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate store deliveries and lead the delivery team. You will assign trips to drivers, monitor schedules, and ensure DOT compliance for logs and equipment.

This role requires driving/dispatch experience, strong communication, and proficient MS Office skills. You will work closely with the lumberyard team to maintain safety and efficiency on loads and routes.

Qualifications

• Previous driving and/or dispatching experience.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Customer service skills to cultivate relationships.
• Ability to multitask while remaining organized.
• This is not a desk job, so must enjoy being active.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate store deliveries with other stores and customers.
• Assign deliveries to drivers and manage the fleet.
• Ensure loads are built and deliveries are on time.
• Communicate changes in delivery schedules to the team.
