Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a delivery driver to operate company vehicles, perform courteous package pickup and delivery, and check shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards within the station’s area.

Requires high school diploma/GED, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, read and speak English, and a valid driver’s license; medical exam required per FMCSA/FAA; Mon-Fri 6am-6pm; pay range $22.43-$35.54 per hour.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs and handle heavier packages with equipment/assistance
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills
• Thorough knowledge of service area
• Demonstrated adaptability and dependability in courier roles
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Able to read and speak English sufficiently for traffic signs and inquiries

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver and pick up packages in a courteous and efficient manner
• Check shipments for conformance to FedEx service features
• Provide coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area
• Perform related customer service functions as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
