Valley Building Supply, Inc. seeks a dependable Delivery Coordinator to organize daily outbound deliveries, verify orders, and coordinate with drivers and yard staff. This role requires attention to detail and strong communication in a busy lumber yard environment.

You will ensure trucks are loaded correctly, stage orders for delivery or pickup, and help resolve shortages or discrepancies while maintaining safety and efficiency. A customer-focused mindset is expected.

Qualifications

• Customer service oriented.
• Dependable, punctual and organized with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Safety-minded and able to work in a lumber yard environment.
• Experience in lumber, delivery, logistics or forklift is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate daily outgoing deliveries.
• Check in vendor trucks and check out company delivery trucks.
• Verify customer orders for accuracy before loading.
• Check quantities, products, and condition of materials.
• Stage orders for delivery and customer pickup.
• Coordinate with drivers, sales staff, yard employees, and vendors.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe lumber yard.
• Help ensure trucks are properly loaded and ready for delivery.
• Identify and communicate shortages, damaged materials, and order discrepancies.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials when needed.

What you’ll do:

• Coordinate daily outgoing deliveries
• Check in vendor trucks and check out company delivery trucks
• Verify customer orders for accuracy before loading
• Check quantities, products, and condition of materials
• Stage orders for delivery and customer pickup
• Coordinate with drivers, sales staff, yard employees, and vendors
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe lumber yard
• Help ensure trucks are properly loaded and ready for delivery
• Identify and communicate shortages, damaged materials, and order discrepancies
• Assist with loading and unloading materials when needed

• Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM–6:00 PM
