Job summary

Floor & Decor is seeking a Delivery Coordinator in Baton Rouge, LA to manage home deliveries, LTL and FedEx shipments, and outbound/inbound logistics. You will use the Storage Buy System, MMS, and IST Shipping applications to keep shipments on track, print labels, and ensure documentation is complete.

A forklift-capable, customer-service oriented individual is preferred. Responsibilities include scheduling, releasing orders to carriers, auditing shipments, and communicating with the warehouse

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic math skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Basic knowledge of shipping and receiving product.

Responsibilities

• Schedule home deliveries, LTLs and FedEx shipments using the Storage Buy System.
• Release all home delivery, LTL and FedEx orders to the proper carrier.
• Print and manage the EComm Shipping Report from MMS; ensure RBs have correct BOL labels.
• Stage outbound deliveries with proper shipping documents (BOL/labels).
• Receive inbound PO shipments and update records in the system.
• Process remaining orders under Shipping Info/Shipping Tab in Storage Buy.
• Validate shipments from the previous day in Storage Buy; communicate transfers.
• Coordinate ISTs shipping via MMS/IST Shipping App and confirm delivery receipt.
• Notify Warehouse Supervisor of pending ISTs and delivery issues.
• Audit shipping orders not completed by Storage Buy Auditor.

The Delivery Coordinator position is responsible for all the deliveries in the store and will need to be knowledgeable on all aspects of shipping and receiving.Qualities we look for:Entrepreneur and hard-workingHonest and accountableExcellent communication and listening skillsShow empathy to customer’s concerns and ability to efficiently resolveStrong organization skillsMinimum Eligibility Requirements:Knowledge of basic math skillsAbility to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressureAbility to operate a forkliftBasic knowledge of shipping and receiving productEssential Job Functions:Schedule all home deliveries, LTL’s and FedEx shipments by making all the appropriate documents and inputting that information into the Storage Buy System.Ensure all home delivery, LTL and FedEx orders are released from the store to the proper carrier.Print and work the EComm Shipping Report from MMS, ensure all RBs are scheduled and have the correct BOL labels on the pallets.Stage including wrapped, boxes and strapped all outbound deliveries (home delivery, FedEx, and LTL) in the outbound bay with the proper shipping documents BOL/Shipping labels.Detail receiving all inbound PO shipments (Schluter, Rubi and ETC)Work through all remaining orders under the Shipping Info Required Tab and Shipping Tab in the Storage Buy system to ensure everything has been setup and completed that shipped the day prior.Validate all shipments that were delivered the previous day are completed in the Storage Buy systemPick, receive, locate and call the customers for all inbound R&L shipments.Validate all outgoing IST’s have been shipped in MMS and/or IST Shipping Application.
