Job summary

Sonaca North America in Auburn is seeking a Delivery Coordinator to ensure timely delivery of products and clear communication of delivery plans to Customer Service Representatives. You will be the primary contact for internal customers, coordinating orders through manufacturing and coordinating with plant operations, shipping, and quality teams.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Our team of experts is dedicated to staying ahead of the curve in the aerospace and defense industry, utilizing the latest technologies and processes to ensure that we deliver the best possible solutions to our customers. **POSITION SUMMARY**The **Delivery Coordinator** (Delco) is responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of products and to communicate statuses and delivery plans to the Customer Service Representatives. They are the main point of contact for internal customers. **Pay Range is $23.00 - $26.00 per hour** **ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES*** Coordinate and direct internal and externals customer orders through the manufacturing process.* Respond to delivery related or product related inquires as needed. This includes direct communication with plant operations, shipping, and quality.* Daily engagement the Delivery Assurance Manager to identify delivery risks, barriers and delivery status.* Constantly looking to identify obstacles early, actively working to resolve those impediments, and escalate when needed.* Identify and participate in resolution of process flow routes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.* Maintain delivery schedules to ensure timely completion (horse blankets, LOB, etc.), Communicate clear and timely status’ through tools to upstream customers.* Work closely with site operations to ensure stable workflow of orders, priorities, and stock management (i.e., stagnant WIP, work order issues, holds). This includes direct communication with the Master Schedulers, Materials Managers and Central Planning Manager.* Some sites will require the Delivery Coordinator to schedule production. You will use site scheduling tools to set clear scheduling, adhering to capacity and specific site limitations. With sites that have a master scheduler, work closely to ensure timely release and correct flow of production orders.* Identify and direct resolution of process flow routes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.* Participate in cross-functional discussion in delivery clinics to identify root cause and prioritized corrective actions.**KEY DELIVERABLES:*** Update Horse blanket Past due + 4 weeks (need to eventually get out 8 weeks)* Responsible for putting jobs on hold. i.e. Details, Hardware, Tools, Material* Updating Coverage Files and LOBs* Updating BP File/SPI File (Monthly Sales)- Weekly* Identify critical parts and make sure they are identified on the shop floor* Going out on the shop floor touching jobs and working with supervisors and leads to ensure jobs are moving.* Responsible for getting timelines for critical parts when requested by the CSR team. These dates would come from the supervisors in the different areas.* Identify bottlenecks and issues and bringing them up to daily OBEYA.* DELCO will hand internal company calls along with updating Lean DNA.* Scrap and Replace Process for Internal Customers. **EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCES*** High school diploma or high school equivalency preferred. Candidates that do not have a high school diploma or high school equivalency will be required to take a pre-employment assessment to be considered for the role.* Background in manufacturing environment and Bachelor's degree preferred* A High School diploma or equivalent* Quality Communication* Interpretation of information furnished orally, written, and/or diagram form,* Time Management -well organized, possesses the ability to prioritize, maintain focus and follows through to end of projects* Customer relationship building* Works effectively independently and in a team environment* Capable of Practical Problem Solving and Decision Making using analytical skills* Use of Microsoft Office; Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
