Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled cloud architect to design, implement, and optimize secure AWS solutions for government and commercial customers. The role requires a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and US citizenship, with proof of active status.

You will guide customers through complex migrations, mentor teammates, and stay ahead of cloud trends, focusing on scalable architectures, cost efficiency, and stringent security and compliance practices in diverse environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience
• Knowledge of the primary aws services (ec2, elb, rds, route53 & s3)
• Experience implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environments
• 4+ years of work with software development lifecycle from conception to delivery experience
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience

• Experience and technical expertise (design and implementation) in cloud computing technologies
• Experience leading the design, development and deployment of business software at scale or recent hands-on technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization experience
• Experience in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).
