Job summary

WB Employment is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team in Bristol. You will transport goods safely, communicate with customers, and ensure timely deliveries while upholding high service standards.

Shifts are Monday to Friday, 08:30am–17:30pm, with a pay rate of £12.71 per hour. The role requires a valid licence and the ability to load/unload, plus strong customer service skills and independent work ethic.

WB Employment is seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driverto join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires excellent driving skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and a commitment to providing outstanding service. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive their orders on time and in good condition.

Shift times: Monday to Friday 08:30am to 17:30pm

Pay rate – £12.71 per hour

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies.
• Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as required.
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any discrepancies.
• Assist in the warehouse as needed, including sorting and organising inventory.
• Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from customers.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record; experience as a Delivery Driver or in commercial driving is preferred.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
• Experience driving vans or similar vehicles is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently to meet delivery schedules.
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is a plus but not essential.

Location – Severn Beach, BS35 – Own transport essential due to location
