Job summary

Enflite is seeking a Purchasing/Delivery Support professional in Georgetown, TX to ensure on-time delivery and maintain supplier commitments. You will manage open POs, follow up with suppliers, and renegotiate dates to fit the production schedule while coordinating with internal teams.

The role emphasizes accuracy, communication, and organization, with a focus on supporting the purchasing team, tracking delivery performance, and handling logistics-related exceptions as production needs change.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• 0-2+ years of experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing Administration.
• Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
• ERP system exposure preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) required.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day delivery assurance activities for existing purchase orders.
• Monitor open purchase orders to ensure material is delivered on time to meet the production schedule.
• Follow up with suppliers to confirm delivery dates and shipment status.
• Renegotiate delivery dates when required to align with internal schedule changes.
• Update purchase orders with revised delivery dates and delivery related notes in ERP system.
• Process and act on weekly Open PO reports including reviewing supplier responses and updating delivery commitments.
• Escalating delivery risk as needed and communicating status to purchasing and operations.
• Coordinate the return of non-conforming material to suppliers for rework or replacement.
• Maintain accurate records of delivery commitments and supplier communications, and support buyers with follow-up and exception resolution.
• Provide status updates related to delivery performance and open issues.
• Perform special projects and cross-coverage activities within purchasing team as needed.
