Rooster Logistics, LLC in Columbus, GA is hiring delivery drivers to join our team. You will safely drive a Step Van, load packages, and ensure timely door-to-door deliveries while maintaining Amazon's standards.

We offer 10-hour shifts, a 4-day workweek with at least one weekend day, competitive wages, weekly pay, and opportunities for advancement. Benefits after 30 days, tuition reimbursement after 90 days, and performance incentives are available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have good English speaking, reading, writing communication skills.
• Must have a valid unrestricted driver's license.
• Successfully pass a 4-panel pre-employment drug test.
• Military veterans are welcome!
• Commercial, DOT, CDL driving experience is a plus, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Always safely drive and operate delivery vehicle.
• Perform safety inspections on company vehicle before and after shift.
• Follow all local and state laws, road and driving regulations, and company policies.
• Record, load and organize packages to increase efficiency of door-to-door delivery.
• Ensure packages reach customers on-time by placing them in the correct drop-off location.
• Proficiently use handheld smart phone device for checking into work, GPS navigation, reviewing customer information, scanning packages, recording drop-off locations, and communicating with the team.
• Support the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes.
• Putting safety first and obsessing over customer satisfaction while working hard and smart.
