CORT Furniture Rental is hiring immediately for full-time Delivery Assistants in Norwood, MA. The Delivery Assistant supports the driver with loading/unloading, securing loads, cleaning and assembling furniture, and assisting with customer interactions. The role emphasizes safety and efficiency in delivery operations.

Pay is $19 per hour with a Monday–Friday schedule and possible Saturday shifts. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), paid training, and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Reliable transportation preferred.
• General labor or delivery experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Inspect furniture for delivery readiness before loading.
• Load/unload furniture manually and ensure safe handling.
• Assist with navigation, parking, and spot backing for the truck.
• Interact with customers to provide world-class service during deliveries.
• Complete delivery paperwork and coordinate with dispatch and warehouse.
