HD Supply Canada, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Assistant in West Sacramento, CA. You will assist delivery drivers, help load and unload orders, and interact with customers to confirm details and provide proof of delivery.

Responsibilities include ensuring safety practices, inspecting deliveries, and performing general warehouse duties as needed. Prior experience and knowledge of warehouse processes are preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility.
• Knowledge of warehouse procedures, requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, cargo securement requirements, and delivery documents.
• Prior delivery assistant experience in a similar industry.
• 1+ years of experience operating material handling equipment.

• Relays escalated customer concerns to distribution center leadership.
• Provides exceptional customer service by being polite and professional during deliveries.
• Performs general warehouse duties as needed.
