Vermont Home Center is looking for a reliable and energetic Delivery Assistant to join our team in Waterbury, VT! Responsibilities:

• Assist with loading and unloading merchandise from delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
• Deliver home improvement products and materials to residential and commercial customersEnsure accurate order fulfillment by verifying items before and during delivery
• Provide friendly, professional customer service during each delivery interaction
• Assist in maintaining an organized warehouse and staging area
• Follow safe handling procedures for large, heavy, or fragile items
• Support the delivery driver with navigation, scheduling, and on-site coordination

Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs regularly throughout the workday
• Strong work ethic with a dependable, punctual attitude
• Valid driver's license preferred but not required
• Prior experience in delivery, warehousing, or logistics is a plus
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and outdoor environments
• Team-oriented with the ability to follow directions and work efficiently
