Job summary

Kane’s Furniture is seeking full-time Delivery Assistants to deliver furniture to customers’ homes. You will be the last contact with customers, ensuring a positive experience and coordinating with the Delivery Driver on loading, unloading and assembly.

Role requires ability to lift 150 pounds+, a valid Florida driver's license, and the ability to pass background and drug tests. Training pay is provided, with potential to earn $60k+ including commissions and bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test.
• Must have valid Florida driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Able to lift 150 pounds+ with assistance (team lifting).
• Previous box truck driving experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver furniture daily to customers' homes.
• Load and unload items with proper material handling.
• Assist Delivery Driver with unloading, assembly and placement.
• Provide excellent customer experience and communication at delivery.

Furniture Delivery Assistant

• Training Pay – Guaranteed for up to 12 weeks
• Compensation post Training – Commission Pay – Opportunity to earn $60k plus
• Monthly Performance Bonuses
• No CDL Required

Kane’s is looking for full-time Delivery Assistants who will deliver furniture daily to customers’ homes. Our Delivery Assistants are the last point of contact with our customers, so all Assistants must be personable, energetic and ensure that customers receive an excellent customer experience.

All Assistants must be able to lift 150 pounds+ and use proper material handling skills to load and unload product onto a truck. Some assembly of furniture is required. Delivery Assistants will partner with a Delivery Driver as they load, assemble and deliver furniture to our customers.

Required Skills/Abilities/Credentials

• All candidates should have a valid Florida driver's license
• Acceptable driving record
• Must pass pre‑employment criminal background and drug test
• Previous experience driving a box truck a plus
• Able to lift 150 pounds+ with assistance (team lifting)
• Strong customer service skills
• Work schedule is Tuesday through Saturday – you will be home every evening
• Position is based out of the Corporate Distribution Center located in Pinellas Park, Florida (St Petersburg area)
