Job summary

MOCKLER BEVERAGE CO A LP seeks delivery assistants to support CDL drivers in the safe and efficient delivery and merchandising of products on assigned routes. We offer FREE on-site CDL training and certification to our employees to grow within the company.

Duties include vehicle pre/post trip checks, confirming product selection and inventory, restocking, accurate end-of-day settlements, and providing friendly customer service.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver's license and driving record.
• Willingness to obtain Class A CDL through on-site training.
• Ability to operate a pallet jack and dolly.
• Physical ability to perform demanding daily work including lifting up to 165 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pre/post trip vehicle inspections and safety hazard recognition on route.
• Confirm proper product selection and inventory prior to leaving the warehouse and at delivery locations.
• Restock products, ensure proper rotation, and maintain account inventories.
• Accurate end of day settlement accounting.
• Provide friendly, courteous customer service to accounts and shoppers.
• Adhere to all safety policies and applicable laws including FMCSA/DOT and alcohol regulations.

Our delivery assistants assist the Drivers in the safe and efficient delivery and merchandising of all products sold to accounts on an assigned route. Interested in becoming a CDL driver? Essential Job Duties:

• Assist with pre/post trip vehicle inspections and recognition of safety hazards while on route;
• Confirmation of proper product selection and inventory count prior to leaving the warehouse each day and at each delivery location;
• Meticulous adherence to proper rotation of product & efficient restocking in accounts;
• Accurate end of day settlement accounting;
• Provide friendly and courteous customer service to accounts and shoppers;
• Strict adherence to all company safety policies and any applicable federal, local and/or state laws including FMCSA/DOT safety regulations and Alcohol Beverage Commission requirements;
  
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 18 years of age;
• Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record in accordance with company policy;
• Willingness to take steps required to obtain Class A Commercial Driver's License through the on-site Third Party Tester training program;
• Ability to safely operate a pallet jack and two or four-wheel dolly
• Must have physical ability to perform physically demanding daily work in various indoor and outdoor settings, weather, and temperatures to include regular frequent and repeated crouching, stooping, squatting, twisting, turning, carrying, and lifting bases of beverage products up to 50 lbs. and/or kegs up to 165 lbs, and pushing and pulling carts of up to 350 pounds
