Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is hiring a Kitchen Team Member to deliver friendly customer service and maintain a clean, stocked deli area. No prior experience required as training is provided, and you’ll learn food preparation guidelines for salads, sandwiches, wraps, and fruit.

You will assist with stocking, cleaning, and following food safety procedures, with opportunities to cross-train in other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced retail or food service environment preferred.
• Willing to learn and train on the job.
• Ability to work in a deli/kitchen area with food safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly customer service and help customers with menu questions.
• Assist deli and fountain bar areas with stocking and cleaning.
• Prepare deli items per guidelines (salads, sandwiches, wraps, fruit).
• Follow safety, sanitation and company policies throughout shift.
• Potential cross-training in other store roles as needed.
