Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk to create a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience across our Fresh departments. You’ll build positive connections with customers and teammates while sharing product knowledge and helping shoppers find what they need.

The role emphasizes food safety, accurate merchandising, and teamwork, with opportunities to work across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery. Previous retail or food service experience is helpful but not required.

• Stock, rotate, and merchandise products according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
