Job summary

Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. in Missouri is seeking a Deli Host to welcome customers, answer menu questions, and keep the deli area clean and stocked.

Training is provided, no prior experience required, and you will learn all aspects of the role on the job. You will prepare deli items, support the cashier team, follow food safety procedures, and have opportunities to cross-train in other departments.

Qualifications

• General customer service duties including helping customers with menu offerings.
• Assist store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli and beverage stations.
• Accurately prepare deli products according to guidelines (salads, sandwiches, fruit, parfait cups).
• Follow company policies and food safety procedures.
• Cross-train in other departments such as Store Cashier or Facility Maintenance.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and respond to questions about menu items.
• Prepare deli products per guides (salads, sandwiches, fruit, parfait cups).
• Maintain clean deli, coffee, and fountain areas during shifts.
• Assist in other duties as needed and train in additional roles.
• Assist in other departments as required and adapt to different tasks.
