Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk to provide outstanding customer service in our Fresh departments. You will engage with customers, share product knowledge, and help them locate items while keeping displays fresh and well stocked.

You will work across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery, supporting store operations with a friendly, efficient attitude in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments.

You’ll:

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
