Meijer Inc. is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver outstanding customer service in our Fresh departments. You will provide product knowledge, assist customers, and contribute to a welcoming store environment.

In this fast-paced role, you will stock, rotate, and merchandize displays, learn store technology, and follow safety standards while working across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery to keep store operations smooth.

What You’ll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments.

You’ll:

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates

• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need

• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays

• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards

• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures

• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery

• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
