Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Food Clerk to join our Wisconsin store team. You will deliver friendly, efficient service, help customers find products, and maintain fresh, appealing displays in our Fresh departments.

You will stock, rotate, and merchandise items while using POS tech to complete transactions and follow food safety procedures. This role rewards teamwork, activity, and daily customer interactions.

Qualifications

• Friendly, customer-first attitude and excellent communication.

• Capacity to lift and stock items; physically active.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with purchases and locate products.

What You’ll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments.

You’ll:

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates

• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need

• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays

• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards

• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures

• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery

• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
