Job summary

BJ's Wholesale Club is seeking team members for the deli department. You’ll slice, package, weigh, and sell deli products while maintaining clean, inviting display cases and adhering to food safety standards.

The role focuses on delivering friendly service to Members, assisting with product selections, stocking, and ensuring accurate pricing and presentation across the deli area. Availability Thursday through Sunday is noted in the posting.

Qualifications

• Work experience in a deli department preferred.
• Prior experience operating manual/power slicers and scales preferred.
• Knowledge of deli products preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provides high level customer service to Members. Answers questions and recommends deli items.
• Slices, packages, and weighs deli products, including cheeses and meats; assists Members with purchases.
• Receives and inspects deli shipments; stocks and rotates deli items to keep cases full and fresh.
• Maintains deli display cases and ensures cleanliness and food safety procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned and supports other departments as needed.
