The Fresh Market is hiring a Deli Specialist to deliver deli department excellence, ensuring product freshness, accurate merchandising, and strict food safety compliance. You will support inventory accuracy, rotation, and presentation while engaging guests and contributing to promotions and seasonal events.

This role emphasizes teamwork, a positive attitude, and a commitment to outstanding guest experiences in a fast-paced grocery setting.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational skills, ability to multitask, and work at a fast pace.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all deli products meet freshness and quality standards, including proper rotation and dating.
• Execute planograms and maintain accurate product placement and signage.
• Coordinate with department leadership on ordering and replenishment of deli items.
• Verify deliveries for accuracy and freshness, ensuring proper receiving and storage procedures.
• Play a key role in compliance during key item transitions and promotional events.
• Follow all TFM policies, food safety requirements, and sanitation procedures.
• Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach when on the sales floor.
