Job summary

As part of the deli team, you will prepare items for the cold case, salads, and hot bars, ensuring proper labeling and freshness while engaging with customers and supporting store leadership.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain current food handlers permit once employed

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items for the cold case, fresh pack, salad, and hot bars per customer requests
• Measure, prepare, and mix ingredients according to the recipe with kitchen utensils and equipment
• Ensure deli items are labeled, dated, covered, rotated and fresh
• Gain knowledge of deli products to answer questions and make suggestions
• Provide excellent customer service and suggestive selling
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned by store leadership
